Summer Catechists on Service to God

          Teaching the children with values is the way of giving service by the summer catechists namely, Perlita, Princess, Joan, Florimae, Jake Augustine, Edward, and Vincent Paul. They taught the children in Sitio Laray and some were coming from another sitio just to learn about singing, praying and worshipping to God. This is done every month of May just to celebrate Flores de Mayo as to commemorate the unconditional love of Mary, and the Roman Catholics were about to offer flowers for Mary. Many were called to serve God and few were chosen and for them, educating children in order to be closed to God. The catechists were not expecting for material things in return for the service they made, and there was that one goal whom they were struggling for, and that simple thing was to give smiles in every children.

          The chapel of Santa Teresa sa Calcutta is the dwelling place for the children who wanted to learn on how to pray and sing songs of worship.Last year, the Flores de Mayo was made successful and a program for children was conducted for giving tribute on their faith and the will to learn. The culmination was a great success because of the help of numerous hearts as headed by Rev. Fr. Patricio Ornopia, a generous priest who is the one who super-headed the center or chapel. Many graces were poured before and during the culmination day just because of God’s power and His instruments.
